2010 Seattle Seahawks running game

Blame it on Jim Mora. Blame the Swiss cheese they used for an offensive line. Blame it on the underdeveloped zone-blocking scheme. Blame the anemic passing game. Whatever you want. There are plenty of options to choose from.

Last year is behind us and the team has addressed some of the aforementioned problems in an attempt to bolster the Seattle rushing attack which was widely feared once upon a time.

Mora: gone. Offensive line: stronger. Zone-blocking: in its second year. Passing game: Hasselbeck is back!

So what can we expect from the 2010 new Seattle Seahawks jerseys running game?

Mentioning Seattle's desperation for a Lombardi trophy is still painful to some fans. The sting of defeat from Super Bowl XL still lingers, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a Seahawks fan who is no longer disgruntled.

Especially since Seattle's "window of opportunity" has closed for the time being; bringing up the Super Bowl can quickly trigger uncomfortable memories.

If you're not a fan of women's basketball, you probably covet a championship Matt Hasselbeck  just as much as any other fan around the nation. Without counting the success of the Seattle Storm, the entire city of Seattle is championship-deprived (since 1979).

Seattle is just one of thirteen NFL cities without a Super Bowl championship, which makes commitment quite difficult. It isn't any fun rooting for a perennial loser.

 Free-agent linebacker Isaiah Ekejiuba visited the new Detroit Lions jerseys on Wednesday and met with the Seattle Seahawks last Thursday and Friday as he works to land a job before training camps open.

Ekejiuba was surprisingly released earlier this month by the new Oakland Raiders jerseys and is considered a standout performer on special teams with 24 tackles over the last two seasons. The Raiders thought enough of him to sign him to a $5.4 million, three-year contract entering last season. He collected nearly half of it -- $2.45 million – and is now in demand.
